Digi Prepaid offers “unlimited” daily passes from RM1

Got a sudden urge to stream or download as much as you want? Digi has introduced 3 unlimited passes for its prepaid users from as low as RM1/day.

For RM1/day, you get a choice of unlimited video streaming (Lite), Unlimited Social (Lite) or Unlimited Internet Calls via WhatsApp, WeChat and Facebook Messenger. At RM3/day, you can get either unlimited internet (Lite) or Unlimited calls within Digi’s network. Take note that the “Lite” offering isn’t full speed. It comes with a speed cap of 512kbps which is optimal for standard definition streaming.

For more demanding users, there’s a higher RM8/day unlimited daily pass which gives you unlimited high-speed internet or unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia. If you’re looking for a long term internet plan, they are currently giving 50% extra quota for its monthly data passes.

The “unlimited” passes does come with a catch. According to their FAQ, their unlimited internet, video and social passes have a fair usage policy of 10GB per offer. For unlimited call passes, there’s a cap of 1,000 minutes. To have 10GB of data and 1,000 minutes of calls in a day should be more than enough for most users.
